(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereign, 1872 [Die 66] (2), second larger young head, W.W. in relief on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 7h, 7.96g; 6h, 7.96g (Marsh 56; Spink 3853B; MCE 533), both faintly contact marked and with a touch of rub to hair, the first with a die flaw to the 1 in date, the second with a die flaw to the left of the 1, both residually lustrous to the obverse legend, good very fine (2)
