(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereign, 1864 'Stub-top 4' [Die 88], second larger young head, W.W. incuse on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 7.99g, 6h (Marsh 49; Bentley 133 same dies; MCE 525; Spink 3853), residually lustrous and bright, a pleasingly good very fine, an auspicious and very lucky die number!
