(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereign, 1855, Type IA (4), second large head right, W.W. incuse on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield, edge milled, 7.92g, 6h; another, similar, 7.98g, 6h; another, similar, 7.94g, 6h; lastly, similar, 7.96g, 7h (MCE 516; Marsh 38; Spink 3852D), all with some rub to hair and lightly contact marked, the second with a die flaw to the 1 in date and T of GRATIA, the third with a die flaw to the I of DEI, otherwise all with lustre of varying degrees, very fine (4)
