(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereigns, 1853, Type IA (3), second larger young head, W.W. incuse on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 7.96g, 6h; another, similar, 7.96g, 6h; a third, similar, 7.94g, 6h (MCE 514; Marsh 36; Spink 3852D), all lightly bagmarked, yet with a pleasing lustre to the obverse legends and reverses, more so to the last example, yet the last with a small bruise at 4 o'clock, all very fine (3)
