Great Britain: Cyclists Chalet Company Limited, £1 ordinary shares, [1898], #66, small vignette of the chalet in centre, black. Registered in 1897 and sponsored by the Wills tobacco company with plans to build 500 chalets around the Midlands and the South of England to offer 'light refreshments and temperance beverages'. The chalets were made of wood in the Swiss style and were primarily used to advertise Wills products! The last mention of the company was in 1900 where a local Bristol auctioneer was instructed to sell 11 of them. VF and rare.
