Catenacci, GIOACCHINO NAPOLEONE RE DELLE DUE SICILIE, uniformed bust of Joachim left, wearing both the Légion d'Honneur and the Ordine delle Due Sicilie con la Trinacria, rev. AUUENIMENTO AL REGNO PRESA DI CAPRI 1808, surrounds view of the island of Capri from the sea, under a naval assault from a formation of Franco-Neapolitan vessels, with smoke rising from the forts atop the island mountains, 61mm, 95.05g (Bramsen 755; Julius 1942; Siciliano 21; Ricciardi 79; Christies 78; D'Auria 79; Turricchia 646), suspension loop to twelve o'clock, slight deposits to lower reaches of the portrait, but a nicely toned, well-struck example of a scarce commemorative issue, detailed and very fine
