George VI (1937-1952), 'Mid-Century' Specimen Proof Sets, 1950 (2), Proof Halfcrown to Farthing (9) (Spink PS17), the first set with some whisps of hairlines, most evident to the Penny, otherwise brilliant and much as struck, the second set much the same and with some verdigris to the edge of the Halfcrown, brilliant, much as struck; 'Mid-Century' Composite Specimen Set, 1950, Halfcrown to Farthing (9) (cf. Spink PS17), both Shillings and the Threepence likely currency strikings, some verdigris to the edge of the Halfcrown, otherwise all extremely fine to practically as struck, all sets in original Royal Mint box of issue (3 sets in total)
