A Trio of Commonwealth Silver (1649-1660), Halfgroat, shield of England bearing the cross of St. George within wreath, rev. conjoined shields of England and Ireland below denomination in Roman numerals, 0.87g, 10h (North 2728; ESC 2160; Spink 3221), on an oval and slightly concave flan, small split to edge, nonetheless pleasing to the struck details, very fine; Halfgroat, as before, 0.85g, 2h, short of flan and porous, fine; Penny, as before, 0.44g, 9h (Spink 3222), lightly crimped to dark surfaces, bolder fine (3)
