1940 (24 Feb.) printed paper rate envelope to Orpington bearing ¾d. yellow Newspaper stamps (4) cancelled by blue crayon, with K.G.VI ½d. green tied by Orpington machine postmark, marked "To Petts Wood to be posted on arrival" in blue crayon, the reverse with similar "Express Fee 3d Paid ...". A fine and unusual cover and is probably the example which is recorded by Jackson. Photo
