1940-47 three envelopes useing parcel stamps for letters; 1940 (11 Mar.) envelope to Orpington with Staple 3d. black on white control "0334" with the railway straight-line handstamp; 1940 (12 Mar) envelope to Lee with Wingham 1d. on buff "A0083" and 2d, on buff "A0087" cancelled by the straight-line handstamp and 2d. tied by Dover machine cancellation; 1947 (11 Oct.) envelope to Welwyn bearing Wingham 1d. on buff "A0249" with 3d. on white "0460" tied by Dover machine cancellation; each with the appropriate K.G.VI adhesives.
