The Klaus Bronny Collection of Bhutanese and Nepalese Coins
These pieces can be distinguished from the Gorakhpuri Paisa due to their magnetic quality. Due to their iron content, they had a slightly lower value than the pure copper pieces. This type of Paisa circulated in Kathmandu and in the east of Nepal and was frequently exported to the Champaran district.
