(g) NGC MS64 | USA, 'Liberty Head' Quarter-Eagle of Two and Half Dollars, 1901 $2.50, Philadelphia, by Christian Gobrecht, edge milled, 4.19g*, 6h (PCGS 7853; NGC ID#25LS; KM 72; Fb. 114), faint bagmarks in otherwise lustrous original fields, good extremely fine and much as issued, with an original mintage of 91,100, but many lost in the great recall of 1933, scarce thus, in NGC holder, graded MS64 (Cert. #6768878-006)
PCGS CoinFacts presently posit only some 2,500 examples survive in 'MS60 or better', only 300 reported above MS65, with broadly 6,000 pieces or so examples believed extant
