Victoria (1837-1901), Penny, 1844 OT, with colon, young filleted head left, W.W. incuse on truncation, rev. Britannia seated right, with ornamental trident, colon after REG, plain edge, 1h, 18.96g (BMC [Peck 1487; Bull 3948), some softness to the higher reverse devices, and some faint contact marks, including to below the ear, otherwise with handsome mint red surfaces to the peripheries and more so to the reverse, nearing uncirculated
