                        William III, Solus (1694-1702), Sixpence, 1696, second V inverted A in GVLIELMVS, first laureate and draped bust right, rev. large crowned shields cruciform, early harp with three strings, obliquely milled edge, 2.94g, 6h (ESC -; cf. Bull 1203; Spink 3520), lightly porous surfaces and scratched, yet with some toning to legends, a bolder fine, the supposed variety putative in this instance; additionally, Anne (1702-1714), 'Post-Union' Sixpence, 1711, draped bust left, rev. crowned cruciform wide shields, plain in angles, five strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 2.83g, 6h (ESC 1596A; Bull 1461; Spink 3619), bent into a love token and scratched, with some corrosion in reverse legend, fair to fine (2)
