(x) PCGS VF35 | Charles II (1660-1685), Crown, 1666 XVIII, second laureate and draped bust variety right, crooked ties curve outwards, rev. crowned shields cruciform, interlinked C's in angles, six strings to harp, upwards lettered edge, 6h (ESC 32; Bull 366; Spink 3355), some adjustments marks through the French shield and softness to the higher points, otherwise with a rich cabinet tone, a pleasing very fine, the date of issue very scarce, the year infamous in the history of London and the story of Spink, in PCGS holder, graded VF35 (Cert. #30509318)
