Charles I (1625-1649), Group G, Halfgroat, Type 3a7, Tower (under Parliament), seventh crowned bust, rev. oval garnished shield, 0.93g, 3h, m.m. sun (North 2257; Spink 2836), mostly flat, yet with a rich pleasing cabinet tone, bold fine; Charles II (1660-1685), Maundy Twopence, Type F, undated, crowned bust left, value behind, rev. square-topped shield over fourchée, 1.00g, 6h (ESC 2169; Bull 588; Spink 3387), softness to the shield, lightly polished yet with a rich tone, very fine; also, George III (1760-1820), Threepence, 1763, young laureate head right, rev. crowned value, plain edge, 1.42g, 6h (ESC 2034; Bull 2255; Spink 3753), bright and graffitied to the reverse, otherwise very fine (3)
