1932-34 a group of airmail covers (32, four of which incoming), mostly with "first official air mail" violet or "first flight/regular air mail service/nyasaland-southern rhodesia" black cachets, 1932 (23 Jan) envelope from Limbe to the Post Master and Broken Hill, Northern Rhodesia bearing 1½d., 2d. and 4d. with boxed "t.p.o. late fee/not paid.", the "not" being crossed through in manuscript having been overpaid by ½d., 1932 (23 Jan) envelope from Limbe to Johannesburg bearing 1½d. pair, 2½d. block of four and 4d. with Express label, this seemingly incurring an 8d. charge requiring South Africa 2d. and 3d. (2) Postage Dues; the envelope marked "Urgent", "Surcharge 8d." and "Posted out of course", signed in the bottom right by Pilot M.H. Pearce of the Puss Moth. Fine and appealing.
