1896 (17 July) 4d. registered letter envelope from Bugler Sing, a solider in the 45 Sikhs in Zomba to Simla Bank India, uprated with Arms 1d. to pay soldier's letter rate black tied by Zomba (D2) and countersigned "Captain Commd of Armed Forces. Zomba in B.C.A."; handstruck oval with manuscript "192" on face and, on the reverse, Chinde (D3), Sea Post Office and Simla d.s. Small tear to flap on reverse otherwise fine and rare.
