1774-1878, a group of entires (10) to Governors of the Cape: Van Plettenberg (1774-85), Baird (1806-07), Cradock (1811-14), Cole (1828-33) (2), Donkin (1820-21), D'Urban (1834-38), Napier (1838-44), Maitland (1844-47) and 1878 (13 Sept.) official envelope showing Governor's imprint, postally used to Smithfield, Orange Free State, endorsed by Governor's private secretary. Mixed condition though an interesting group.
