1947 (1 Feb.) envelope originated from Rhodes Massari Village (Villaggio Massari) to Addis Abeba (Ethiopia) bearing 1943-47 2½d. light ultramarine (2) cancelled by Rhodes despatch c.d.s., the reverse with transit Alexandria Egypt (9.2) and arrival (27.2) c.d.s. Cover initially transfered from Massari Village to Rhodes as the post office in the village was closed. Sassone €7,000.
