Tropical Mess Dress worn by Squadron-Leader M. J. Frude, Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing Service, who was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 1976, comprising a buff-coloured below-the-knee dress, four Royal Air Force buttons to centre, Medical Branch collar badges, and blue cloth and gold bullion wire epaulettes, a tailor's label to interior, by Hilliers Ltd. of Maddox St., London, bearing the name 'F.O. M.G. Frude' in pen, in good condition free from rips, tears and holes

Margaret Joyce Frude, of Builth in mid-Wales, was born in 1927 and commissioned Flying Officer in Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing Service in August 1958. She retired in 1982 as a Squadron Leader.
