Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., E.VII.R. (134743 N. E. Cock. P.O.1 Cl, H.M.S. Emerald.), good very fine

Norman Edwin Cock was born at Devon on 21 March 1870 and enlisted with the Royal Navy on 10 September 1883. He received a Testimonial on Vellum for lifesaving from the Royal Humane Society in 1907. Joining the Royal Fleet Reserve on 3 July 1910 he returned to service during the Great War and served ashore from 2 August 1914-18 October 1919.
