George Frederick William Stone served with the 1/6th Battalion, East Surrey Regiment during the Great War. He was posted first to India in 1917 before entering the war in Aden in January 1917, remaining there until August before returning to India. Twice suffering from Malaria during the Great War, Stone was discharged on 11 December 1919; sold together with copied research.
