Herbert Wright served with 'A' Company, 1st Battalion Devonshire Regiment, being entitled to a Queen's South Africa Medal with clasps for Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith, Laing's Nek, Transvaal, Orange Free State. He was discharged on 27 September 1912 at St. Helier, Jersey and listed his intended place of residence as Brighton, Sussex.
