King George III, reverse with the text: 'The / Third Attempt / Of / The Dissenters / In The Short Period Of / Three Years / To Obtain A Repeal Of / The Corporation And Test Acts / Those Barriers Of The / British Constitution / Was Frustrated In The / House Of Commons / By A Majority Of CLXXXIX / March 11 / MDCCXC', suspension loop damaged, some light scratching to reverse lutette, otherwise about extremely fine

The members of the Church and King Club commissioned this medal - they being the most "Responsible and Opulent Neighbouring Gentlemen" in Manchester - to commemorate the defeat of the dissenters in Parliament.
