C.Q.D. Medal 1909, silver issue a couple of light edge bruises, otherwise very fine

Silver issues were awarded to officers and crew whilst silver-gilt issues were given to senior officers of the three ships involved and to Jack Binns, the Marconi operator aboard the Republic who sent out the CQD radio signal.
