Three: Private A. W. Jerrum, 1/8th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment (Duke of Cambridge's Own), who was taken a Prisoner of War at Dunkirk in May 1940 and who was forced to endure 'The Long March' in 1945

Albert Walter Perrin Jerrum was born in New Cross, London on 22 February 1920. Enlisting in the 1/8th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment before the outbreak of the Second World War he served as part of the British Expeditionary force. Captured at Dunkirk on 27 May 1940 he was interned at Stalag XXB (Marienburg), he stayed there until January 1945 when the camp was closed and the internees were forced to march Westward across Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Germany in extreme winter conditions from January-April 1945. Jerrum died at Three Bridges, Sussex on 24 March 1983.

Sold together with copied research and another group of Medals and miniatures worn by Jerrum also accompanies the group comprising; France and Germany Star; Dunkirk Medal; Belgian Cross of the Royal Federation of King Albert Veterans.
