Arthur Sydney Buck was born and enlisted at Staines. He entered the war in France from 9 March 1915, and was killed in action on 27 April 1915 serving with the 1st/8th Bn. He is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial and was the son of Arthur Edward and Mary Buck, of 241, Rose Villa, London Rd., Staines, Middx.
