Silver Cigarette Box of Northern Rhodesia interest
A rectangular silver cigarette box in the Art Deco style, by Alex. Clark Co. Ltd London, hallmarks for 1921, raised on four square edged feet with flared and domed lid, maximum dimensions 235mm x 87mm, total weight 1.12kg, the lid engraved with the initials 'P. C. T. February 10th 1923', the sides with numerous names listed in the footnote, very fine

Philip James MacDonell served as Judge of the High Court of Northern Rhodesia between 1918-1927.
W. W. Shelmerdine was a member of the Northern Rhodesia Advisory Council and was elected in 1918.
