Distinguished Conduct Medal, G.V.R.; Military Medal, G.V.R.; 1914-15 Star; British War and Victory Medals, with M.I.D. oak leaves; France, Republic, Croix de Guerre, the reverse dated '1914-1915', mounted as worn and housed within Goldsmiths & Silversmiths leather case, very fine (6)

Not entitled to any of the gallantry awards, 1914-15 Star, M.I.D. or the Croix de Guerre.

George Frederick Green was born at St Peter, Worcester on 12 February 1897 and enlisted in the Royal Marine Light Infantry at Salisbury on 14 November 1916. He was wounded in action by a gunshot wound to the left thigh in France on 28 April 1917 and entitled to the Pair only for his Great War service.
