D.C.M. London Gazette 13 February 1917:
'For conspicuous gallantry in action. On repeated occasions he behaved with great courage under fire, and set a splendid example to the N.C.O.'s and men.'
Edwin Goodhew was born in 1889 and served in France from the 23 August 1914. His MIC also notes misconduct on 5 June 1918 and he was admitted to hospital with arthiritis in August 1918.
