Ashantee 1873-74, no clasp (1883 Pte R. McLaren, 42nd Highds 1873-4), edge bruise, very fine

Robert McLaren is noted as serving at Aldershot in 1871, he later took part in the British Campaign against the Ashanti in 1873-74. The roll states that his medal was issued to him in Malta; sold together with a copied medal roll.
