(x) Crimea 1854-56, no clasp (J. W. Faulkner. C.S.), naming contemporarily and neatly engraved, some contact marks and pitting, overall very fine

Little more has been discovered about J. W. Faulkner, however it is likely he served as one of the thirty Civilian Surgeons employed by the Army with the engraved rank reflecting this.
