Military Mail 1881-1932 selection on written up album pages including 1881 two stampless covers from South Africa marked "On Active Service"; 1883 sailor´s letter from "M Sullivan Skilled Ship.m h.m.s. euryalus Bombay E. Indies" to Birmingham, franked at concessionary rate bearing Great Britain 1880-81 2d. rose; 1885 Suakin Expedition long OHMS envelope from Dongola marked "On Active Service No Stamps" addressed England then redirected to Switzerland and bearing Great Britain 1880-81 2½d. lilac vertical pair; 1894 Egypt 5m. postal stationery envelope hand endorsed "British Army of Occupation/ Commanding Army S.Corps" signed and cancelled alongside by "detach_t army service corps alexandria" c.d.s.; very mixed condition nevertheless a most appealing lot.
