1764 (1 Feb.) entire letter from Beans and Cuthbert in Kingston to Messers Newton and Gordon in Madeira interesting contents regarding the import of wine "Pray let the Wines be good & well picked, as much depends thereon", also 1777 (28 Nov.) entire letter from Edward Cairns to the same addressee in Madeira rated "1N", Cairns requests they must send "at the very first opportunity for Annotto Bay or Portland a Hogshead of your very best wine". Both sent via London and receiving Bishop Marks in transit. Some faults though an interesting duo.
