Des Armees/LV.No. 2" dotted circle cancellation, without Military endorsement or cachet and thus most likely applied in error; 1893-1901, envelopes (4) to France or Germany, including 1893 25c. postal stationery envelope marked "Corresepondence des Armees", 1894 to Bavaria bearing 25c. and with blue "service/de/santé" cachet, 1901 stampless to Rochefort marked "Troupes de Madagascar" and with Military cachet on reverse; 1913 (4 Aug.) envelope registered to Tamatave bearing (on reverse) Sultanat d'Ajouan 1912 "05" on 15c. (pair, strip of four) with dotted circle Diego-Suarez/Madagascar cancellations.
