1876 (14 July) envelope to Blois, marked "Voie Francaise", bearing General Issues Eagle 80c. with margins all round, tied by mute lozenge of dots cancellation and with Paq. Fr./Pointe a Pitre Guade dotted circle datestamp alongside, transit and arrival datestamps on the reverse; light edge wear to the cover with trivial nicks at the top. Early usage of the new 40c. per 15 gms. rate and very late use of the 80c. Eagle.
