1923 (23 Dec.) incoming envelope from Canada bearing 2c. pair, taxed on arrival with Postage Due 4c. interpanneau margin horizontal strip of three, recipient not found, cover R.T.S. with address excised and showing alongside "Inconnu/Unknow" handstamp, the reverse with few d.s. including "inspection division dead letter office ottawa canada" (24.7.1924), a very interesting piece of postal history .
