1860s-1940s mint collection, neatly presented on hingeless pages, with British Columbia 1865 3d blue, 1867 2c on 3d brown and 25c on 3d orange, New Brunswick with 1860 1c through 17c, including a number of colour shades, selection of Nova Scotia with good representation of 1860 Queen Victoria issues, small group of 1863/1870 Prince Edward Island, strongest in Newfoundland including four-margin 1d brown violet, somewhat sparse through the 1920s but note 1865 12c to 24c, 1868 3c vermilion, pleasing 1876 1c deep green, 1897 Royal Family issues with the 4c and 5c, 1919 Trail of the Caribou basic set complete, quite well-filled from the 1932 Definitives, useful fresh and very fine Air Post issues including 1931 Pictorial sets with and without watermark, 1932 Dornier DO-X flight, 1933 Labrador Issue, and 1933 Balbo Flight (this exceptionally lightly hinged), 1939 Postage Dues complete, the odd fault or no gum examples among the earlier issues, overall a solid basis for further development, chiefly fresh and fine.
