1851-1960s, powerful mint and used collection in a Lighthouse hingeless album, near-complete for the available spaces from the first issue through to the 1950s, many desirable items, noting an attractive used 1852-57 four-margin 3d red, a pleasing used large-margin 6d on wove, 1857 ½d rose just touching at lower right, lightly-cancelled three-margin 7½d green (minor corner crease), Large Queens with a particularly well-centered used 1c yellow-orange and 3c red, Small Queens with shade varieties, mostly mint save for a handful of 5c, 6c and 8c values, one 5c example heavily hinged but appears o.g, 10c deep lilac mint in a pleasing deep shade, several lower-denominations with select centering, Maple Leaf issues mint save for the 10c, the ½c, 1c, 3c, 6c, and 8c appearing never hinged, 1897 Diamond Jubilees mint save for the $2, $4, and $5, the 1c to 10c well-centered and never hinged, the $3 hinged and centered very fine, 1908 Quebec Tercentenary complete mint, nicely centered and never hinged to the 7c, 1898 Numeral issue complete mint, 1903-08 King Edward VII mint to the 20c, the 7c, 10c, and 20c particularly well-centered, Admirals almost exclusively very fine centered, the majority appearing never hinged including 20c, 50c, and $1 values and many coils, the collection chiefly very fine centered from then on many never hinged examples including the 1928 $1 Parliament, 1930/1 Mount Edith Cavell, back-of-the-book mint including shades of the 10c Special Delivery, a nicely-centered 1922 20c Special Delivery n.h., War Tax a little sparse, with those examples present being well-centered and never hinged, some faults or no gum examples to be expected among the earlier Victorian issues, twentieth-century stamps have chiefly been chosen as fresh and select-centered examples. A pleasing and desirable collection that was built through many years of diligence, well-suited to an appreciative collector looking to continue this lifetime effort.
