The 'Kyrios' Collection | Kingdom of Baktria, a Selection of Drachmae (3): i) Antimachus II (c.174-165 BC), AR Drachm, BASILEOS NIKEPHOROY ANTIMAXOY, Nike advancing left holing palm branch and fillet, monogram in left field, rev. Karosthi legend, helmeted king on horseback prancing right, 2.36 (Bopearachchi-Serie 1E) toned, very fine; Antialkidas (c.115-95 BC), (2): ii) AR Drachm, BASILEOS NIKEPOROY ANTIALKIDOY, diademed draped bust right, rev. Karosthi legend, Zeus enthroned half left, holding wreath and palm branch in right hand and sceptre in left, forepart of elephant in left field, monogram in right field, 2.44g (c.f. SNG ANS 1066; cf. Bib. Nat. 10A) unlisted monogram, scarce variety, very fine; iii) another similar, but king wears kausia, and Zeus holds Nike and sceptre, 2.78g (SNG ANS 1085; Bib. Nat. 13A) toned, well centred, almost very fine; (3)
