XAL Eagle flying right, holding snake in talons and attacking it with beak, 3.70g (BCD Lang 111, 135 - dies; Picard 7) Toned, good very fine; ii) Euboean League, Eretria, AR Drachm, c. 304-290 BC, Head of the nymph Euboia right, rev. EY Head and neck of bull facing slightly right, fillets hanging from horns, symbol of lyre to right, 4.02g (SNG Copenhagen 484; Wallace 90) Darkly toned, very fine, a rare variety; Histiaia (2): iii) AR Tetrobol, c. 340-330 BC, Laureate head of the nymph Histiaia right rev. Histiaia seated right on stern of a galley, wing on prow, ISTI upper left, [A]ION/NI below, AY in exergue, 2.11g, (Cf. BMC 24) Toned, lustrous and well-struck on slightly elongated flan, cracks to edges but near extremely fine; iv) Another, as before, but with A behind obverse portrait rev. As before but with AION to left and ISTAIA below, 2.11g, (Cf. BMC 47) Toned and lustrous, some die flaws but good very fine (4).
