CIVITAS EBORACI, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 2.03g, 3h, chipped and ragged, scarcely fair; also, Halfgroat, Bristol [under William Sharrington], similar, rev. CIVITAS + BRISTOLIE, 0.98g, 10h, m.m. -/WS (North 1851; Spink 2377), light porosity, otherwise lightly toned on a fuller flan, fair to fine, scarce and interesting as Sharrington was later tried for Forgery!
