Koinon of Cyprus, Vespasian (AD 69-79) (3): i) AR Tetradrachm, 13.22g, AD 75/6, laureate head left, rev. ETOYC NEOY IEPOY H (= year 8), Zeus Salaminios standing facing, holding patera in right hand and short sceptre with left, on which rests eagle (RPC 1801; BMC 21), about very fine,; ii) another, exactly as before, 12.71g, good fine; iii) one more, 12.12g, similar obverse countermarked on neck with bust of Antoninus Pius left, rev. ETOYC NEOY IEPOY, the temple of Aphrodite at Paphos in which is conical xoanon, H in ex.(= year 8) (RPC 1803; BMC 18), good fine, reverse almost very fine, (3).
