REX:, saltire stops, King enthroned, holding sceptre and orb, rev. IHS.' AVTE.' TRANSIE.' PER.' MEDI.' ILLOR.' IBAT, lozenge stops, crowned shield with supporters, 6.00g, 3h, m.m. swan [94] (Schneider I, 645 different dies; North 1865; Spink 2391), polished and removed from a mount, with resultant solder to edge at 8-9 o'clock, much flatness but struck details about fine and reminiscent of the Bisham Abbey and Houghton-cum-Wyton 'bracelets'
