1856 (19 June) letter sheet sent Registered to Driffield, bearing 6d. purple cut square with good to large margins in combination with 1855 1d. brownish red (Die II) tied to letter by '21' barred numeral oval of Woolwich, paying the 6d. Registration fee along with the 1d. for domestic postage, 'paid' and 'registered' handstamps alongside 'driffield' c.d.s., fine. Holcombe Opinion (1993)
