LD-LF horizontal strip of three (LD cut from and re-joined), each stamp with good to large margins, cancelled by red Maltese Cross all showing signs of attempted cancellation removal; endorsed on the reverse "Prepared with white of egg. Twice marked with the London Post Office obliterating stamp" and signed "R Hill". One or two trivial creases as to be expected and a superb multiple from these rare cancellation trials.
