1846, (19 Oct.), Keighley local envelope, franked 1d. Plate 67, LI, with three page enclosure, an attractively penned letter concerning the famous Wool Combers strikes (between 1841 and 1861), from one of the strikers "who is to (sic) poor to sign her name" to one of the Mill owners, Mr. Robert Clough. Fine. This letter affords a remarkable insight into a key strike in Keighley by needy Yorkshire folk in the 1840's
