Burao: 1903 (25 Oct.) illustrated envelope from Sgt. Eade to W. Street in Farnborough bearing India K.E.VII 3p. strip of four tied by fine strikes of the type D5 c.d.s., the reverse with Base Office Berbera (28.10), Aden (29.10) and Farnborough (8.11) c.d.s., the flap with "From Sgt W. Eade Hampshire Regiment. Somali F. Force". The illustration shows a fish holding an envelope and a postman laden with a heavy postbag. A delightful cover, especially with this unusual franking.
