1893 (7 Apr.) envelope registered to London bearing 1892 1d. black and 10d. carmine cancelled by "cook islands/p.o./raratonga" with large circular "government of the cook islands" handstamp in purple and manuscript "R" in blue crayon, without number, also double-circle "registered/No ___/auckland" datestamp with manuscript number "6528" (15.4) c.d.s. and London arrival (26.5), the reverse with Raratonga despatch c.d.s. and London datestamp; slight defect at upper right corner and small hole.
